LADIES SOFTBALL

The Plantation ladies team is a member of the Tri-County Golden Ladies Softball traveling league consisting of eight communities with two Divisions:

Division 1 - 5 teams, Division 2 - 7 teams.

GENTLEMEN SOFTBALL

Industrial League play Mon & Thu10am

70+ League play Mon & Wed 2pm.

Sun n Fun League play Tue & Fri starting 10am and may have up to 3 games/day scheduled

65+ League play Tue & Thu 130pm.

Two New Teams for 2011-2012

A second Ladies Team and a Lake County Mens Team

The New Season For All Teams Begins In November

SOFTBALL CALENDAR - JAN. 2012

Just in 10-9-11, from our news reporter and photographer, John LaMonica:

Last week the Plantation hosted a "One Pitch Softball Tournament". There were 8 teams that started on Monday. On Friday, the two left standing were Beef O'Brady's and Summer Glen. In the end, Summer Glen from Ocala won 13 to 12 and took the first place plaque, while Beef O'Brady's from Plantation took the Second place Plaque. During the week there was lots of excitment in the stands, that were at capacity each day.
