Chairman’s Corner……………..Jim Fedorchak
We had an excellent village meeting with the speaker from
Energy Home Shield. Both we and Sendelbach's have experienced more than 10% per month in electrical savings since installing
the product in the attic this spring. The single disappointment was that only about 20 residents were there. If there
is sufficient interest, we can reschedule the talk for next winter when the snowbirds are back.
Don't forget about our village breakfast later this month!!
Friday Away…………………………Arlene
Arbolino
The “Friday Away” golf group played Del Webb's Stone
Creek Golf Club in Ocala at it's July 16th monthly off-site golf outing. Although the
July heat was in full force the course was beautiful and the lunch superb. John Hegdal was the winner of the day taking both
closest to the pin and longest putt. Nick Vitale won the second closest to the pin and Rod Boersma took the final longest
putt for the men. Cher Pierce won longest putt for the women. Marty Chizek and Peter Schultz each won a free round of golf
for two donated by Stone Creek. We are taking the month of August off so there
will not be a Friday Away golf outing. But, we will be back in September. We will be playing Harbor Hills September 17th.
So mark your calendars and plan on a day of great golf. You do not need to be a twosome or foursome to play. We will place
you in a foursome if you are a single or a threesome. If you are interested in playing Harbor Hills in the month of
September please contact Garry & Lydia Gaukler, phone #323-8031, or email at garrynlydia@embarqmail.com, address 24030 Robinwood St., Riverside Village.

The Board of Directors recently changed the River Crest Dues fiscal year to the calendar year.
Therefore, the 2010 dues deadline will be extended to the end of December 2010. One hundred - ninety
one households have paid their 2010 dues, and we look forward to receiving the dues from the balance. This will help
us keep the annual dues at $5.00. In January's "Rag-a-muffin" I will attach a self-addressed envelope for your 2011 dues
payment, which can be mailed or dropped off at my home, in the box provided
.

I sent only two get well cards for surgeries to our residents
since mid-June, so that’s a good sign. -may we stay healthy.
